It's a new era
Australia Day without the Hottest 100. In theory I could stream it, but with no Internet access at home and the world's most rigid IT system at work, it's not looking good. Still, there are BBQs to be had and kangaroo meat to be consumed. It's not going to be an entirely Oz free day. I plan on being as Oz as possible at work, 'occa' accent and all. I might even go to a Walkabout. It's going to be great.

just thought I'd let you know that oscar the black fish will not be black for much longer... it looks like he's hit puberty or something, he's shedding his black scales and showing pale golden scales in their place. Freaky! Both he and smiley send their hellos :)

Hey PaoYi! I was thinking just the other day about Oscar and Smiley (and you and David, of course). It's cheering to hear they're still alive and kicking :) Thank you for looking after them so well! And thanks to Karl for such a wonderful engagement present.
