I woke up this morning to Vaughn with a bunch of flowers and a promise of a mystery weekend away. What a lovely birthday!

Thanks! So nice to have birthday wishes (even phone calls very late and night and then again early in the morning) when being on the other side of the world from most of your friends/family precludes a party. That said, Vaughn must have called everyone we have even a vague acquaintance with in London to let them know it was my birthday ('who's [name]? I know several people with that name, but none of them has my number...].
